City of Swan Upper Swan study.

Rail shuttle service connecting Ellenbrook/Vines to Midland via Upper Swan-HerneHill and Stratton.

The Swan Chamber of Commerce are delighted with the vision for Metronet from the Mc Gowan government.

We appreciate the budget restraints we have to live with.

Our opportunity is to service 60,000 plus people at a very economical cost immediately as the rail line already exists.

We only need some cheap stations at Upper Swan,Herne Hill and Stratton together with a diesel shuttle train.

This constructive decision would give this government enormous credibility and relieve much traffic congestion.

It will help the newly announced tourism promotion for the Swan Valley.

Upper Swan station would be closer to Ellenbrook than the Mandurah station to the centre of Mandurah.

All we need is a bus shuttle service through Ellenbrook and the Vines to Upper Swan via Millhouse road.

A new connection is planned by the City of Swan across the Ellenbrook creek.

All young people who go to Uni,colleges, apprenticeships, etc would get the opportunity to access better public transport.

We look forward to your response.

Yours sincerely,

Gerry Hanssen

President Swan Chamber of Commerce.
